This is my first Maiko art here on DA so plz don't bash about this pairing! Heres a story to go with it!

Mai and Zuko bailed Iroh out of jail and escaped from Ba Sing Se. They traveled through the Earth Kingdom for weeks and decided to stay at the village one night! Then one morning while Iroh went to the market to go buy something, he ran into Ursa and so surprised to see that she was still alive so he bought her over to hotel where Zuko and Mai stayed at! When Zuko saw that his mom was really there, he was happy to see her. Ursa decided to join them on their journey.

During their journey, Mai and Zuko had feelings for each other that they can't stop thinking about it! Plus they kept on saving each other from danger and feeling embarassed everytime that happens so they had a love connection going on! When they saw the city of Omashu, they decided to stay for awhile since the city is still taken over by firenation. Mai's parents were surprised to see them!

Later that night, Zuko gave Mai a betrothal necklace and proposed her to marry him, and she accepted. A week later they were finally married. They were 17 and 18 when they got married!

P.S. in this pic above, that's Mai and Zuko's marriage and those 2 ladies were Ursa and Mai's mother. I know Mai's mother didn't come out right but I just couldn't get the face and the hairstyle right because i couldn't get a good look at her so yeah! Yes Iroh was there! I was about to put him in this pic but i ran out of room! 0__0 Hope you like it (for you Maiko fans out there)!
